Using three 30 minute assessments per year, we identify growth in oral reading fluency, phonological awareness, the number of lessons mastered, and reading persistence scores.

Students work on the specific skills that they need help with and at the pace that they require - sometimes more slowly and sometimes moving quickly when things come easy.

Each student is paired with a trained tutor for 1:1 remote instruction. Tutors have frequent access to additional feedback from our executive director.

When arranged with your student’s school, our tutors can meet twice weekly during the school day. If at home is better, we can accommodate you after school as well.

Not every parent wants extra practice, but it is available for every student that wants extra work to reinforce key concepts.

Students and/or parents communicate directly with tutors to ask questions, seek additional work, etc. When extra help is requested, our executive director can arrange to attend IEP meetings and/or have conferences with teachers.

Students are encouraged to work at the pace and flexibility that their brains require. Multi-sensory activities and games are built into every session.

It is the goal of Hope Education to provide services for students even if they are unable to afford it. Ask about our sliding scale payment options.
